Physiotherapy Resident

Hashmeet completed his BPT in India at Baba Farid University of Health and Medical Sciences in 2016. During this time, he engaged in work both in the public and private sectors. Hashmeet began his career at a young age as his professors motivated him to pursue physiotherapy after excelling in university exams with top marks in anatomy, electrotherapy, and physiology. With a keen interest in the areas of orthopedics and cardiopulmonary, he relocated to another city to complete a physiotherapy internship, focusing primarily on pediatrics, neurology, and orthopedic patients.
After arriving in Canada in 2018 as a student, Hashmeet completed an honors course in fitness and health promotion and obtained several certifications alongside it to integrate with Canadian culture and comprehend its population needs and system. During my 6-year journey in Canada, he has actively volunteered for various organizations and has had the opportunity to work with Dovercourt Recreational Centre and Bayshore Health Care.
Hashmeet enjoys using his skills and experience to assist patients in achieving their objectives. His treatment techniques include manipulative therapy, myofascial release, stretching, cupping, electrotherapy, and exercise prescription. He has recently completed his Theragun practitioner and AIM level -1 certification, to enhance his skill set. Hashmeet is looking to maintain a balance between my ongoing education and clinical practice, as he believes, there education is crucial for patient recovery.
During his leisure time, Hashmeet enjoys cooking, shopping and discovering various cities to fuel his passion for travel.
